El proc\u00e9s terap\u00e8utic \u00e9s un fr\u00e0gil equilibri entre tornar a mirar la ferida i sostenir el dolor. Per aix\u00f2, el proc\u00e9s profund per curar no es fa en un dia. Per aix\u00f2, entrar a la ferida requereix molt de compte. Saltar totes les barreres de protecci\u00f3 pot ser impossible de sostenir i retraumatizarnos. No obstant aix\u00f2, no mirar la ferida i quedar-se a la barrera pot servir com pegat, per\u00f2 no ens ajuda a comprendre&#8217;ns en profunditat ni a estimar-nos completament, tamb\u00e9 amb el nostre dolor. Els nostres mecanismes de personalitat s\u00f3n el que un torniquet \u00e9s a una ferida: quan la ferida est\u00e0 oberta cal pr\u00e9mer fort, pot salvar una vida.
